Release Notes 2-4-2-0

Enhancements

  • You now have the facility to apply a greater design element to glazing bars for Doors, Screens and Screen casements. (#2119)

    • This added facility has not been extended to Casement Windows or Sliding sash.

    Should you wish to make use of this enhancement please see the following video.

  • The Cover sheet will only show the items of Joinery that you have chosen to print. (#6946)

    • Previously should you have chosen to print say one window from a list of ten windows the
    Cover sheet still mentioned all ten windows. This has now changed so you will only see
    the items you have chosen to print.

  • Detailed Cutting List and Cutting List Diagrams now picks up the chosen finishing colour. (#6954)

    • A chosen finishing colour has appeared for some time on the Quotation.
    It now appears on the Detailed Cutting List and Cutting list Diagrams.

  • We are now showing a Stile Shoulder Length. (#6967)

    • A stile shoulder length is being given on a Detailed Cutting list and the Cutting list Summary
    The stile shoulder length is measured from the rebate in the item top rail to the rebate in the item bottom rail and for the Head and Cill it is measured from the rebate depth between the two Jambs
    This is regardless of Mortices in Rebates being set to Yes or No

  • Enhancements to the control of Component Output. (#6988)

    • When using Component Output to produce certain cutting lists we now have
    more control to help configure those cutting lists.

  • A request for Line d1 and d2 from the Joinery parameter to go on the printouts Diagrams Various Styles. (#6990)

    • Should you wish to make use of this enhancement please see the following video.

    Fixed Defects

  • Split facility was not working when set to Imperial Fractions or Imperial Decimal. (#6918)

    • This has now been corrected.

  • Having used Reset for a door when in a Screen Frame the door would disappear. (#6958)

    • This has now been corrected.

  • U Value correction when in certain doors. (#6971)

    • When making a FL&B Door and a Panel and Glass Door to the exact same sectional details the U Values were quite different.
    This has now been corrected

  • Rebates to certain components in the Screen module were not showing correctly. (#6975)

    • This bug has been corrected and was not effecting the glass sizes..

  • U Value not working on certain configuration of a FL&B door. (#6976)

    • When the boarding was set to "Meet Bottom rail and meet top rail" a U Value was not showing.
    This has now been corrected.

  • A correction when in a FL&B Door and using Muntins or Other Rails. (#6981)

    • The Muntins and Other Rails when used to form a vision panel in a FL&B door
    would incorrectly show on the face of the boarding. This has been corrected

  • Text descriptions in the Cost Breakdown have been truncated. (#6989)

    • All descriptive text on the Cost Breakdown had the ability to extend over the
    various columns. This has been corrected by limiting the amount of text that appears.

  • An issue with timber costs when the db was set to Imperial Fractions. (#6999)

    • This issue was to do with the incorrect timber being chosen from the wood cost file.
    This has now been fixed

  • Using BOM with fittings raised a certain issue. (#7010)

    • When using fittings in BOM without a rate number and recomputing the job the programme would crash.
    This has been fixed.

  • Unwanted glass description appearing on the quotation. (#7011)

    • A glass description was appearing on a quotation against a door that had just wooden panels.
    This has been corrected..
